Meet the Founders
Maggie and Jen are two experienced educators who have dedicated their careers to serving students and families in their community through the school system. Since meeting in 2009, they’ve developed their crafts, furthered their education, and made an impact on the lives of over 1000 students in and outside of the classroom. With over a decade of experience helping students overcome learning challenges and achieve academic success, they believe that a strong foundation and confidence with the basic skills is fundamental to success in school, career, and beyond.

Maggie McCabe Crew
Founder
With over a decade of experience as an educator, Maggie has a proven track record of success working with students with unique learning challenges and needs. Maggie studied Inclusive Elementary and Special Education at Syracuse University before earning her masters degree in STEM education at CUNY Hunter College. She taught in a variety of school settings, including as a reading interventionist, before earning a masters degree from Hunter College in Educational Leadership. She now leads educators in finding creative ways to ensure all students are making progress towards their goals. Maggie is passionate about supporting students in developing a love of learning. She specializes in reading instruction and provides executive function coaching.

Jennifer Britton
Founder
Jennifer is an 11-year veteran educator in New York City. She has a Bachelor's degree from Syracuse University in Inclusive Elementary and Special Education, as well as a Master's degree from Touro College in Instructional Technology. Jennifer specializes in math instruction with experience in curriculum development, lesson differentiation, and "bringing the math to life" through engaging and fun activities. She has experience working with students from kindergarten to 8th grade (public and charter schools) and is passionate about student growth!
